Hi Jan,

It was neat to read your comments and also to see the picture of you and Vikki.

I too, have a cherished autographed copy of, 'The Long Shadow of the Civil War'. But have not had the pleasure of meeting Vikki in person. I would have loved to have been part of the audience that you referenced.
Hopefully, Vikki will be coming to San Diego to make a presentation in the near future. Would be great if her other half, Gregg Andrews (of Doctor G and the Mud Cats fame) would also be performing here in San Diego. What a win win that would be!

BTW, I LOVE Virginia! What a beatutiful State!

Vikki,

It was a delight meeting you and hearing your presentation based on your latest book. How fortunate I am that you came to my area and I hope it won't be the last time I hear you speak. The turn out was impressive. I now have the honor of having my copy of "The Long Shadow of the Civil War" personally autographed by the author:).

Looking forward to your return to the blog when it is a good time for you. Best wishes on the move...
