Morgan died of disease while serving in the Confederacy and I believe he enlisted because of the Conscription Act and I believe he joined the Confederacy out of fear of the Home Guard since he married into staunch anti-slavery families. He was married to Rebecca Adaline Beamon and the marriage was performed by Silas Crook(s). I have information I would be glad to share with other researchers and would like to compare information with you on this forum.
